Press Release Body: An SME wood manufacturer exporting semi-processed lumber to
Europe and Australia will relaunch its products in the Middle East during The Big 5
Show in Dubai this year.

International Exhibition Centre.

The Big 5 Show is an annual event that has been running for more than 25 years now,
it is considered as the biggest building materials event with a strong and reliable
sales track record. Last year's edition featured a remarkable number of 2,894
exhibiting companies from 67 countries including thirty national pavilions. The
trade show received a total of 41,058 visitors and buyers comprised mostly of
contractors, architects, developers, specifiers and distributors, 72% of which came
from the UAE, 14 % from the Gulf states and other Arab countries, and 14% from other
countries with major representations from India, Iran and Europe.

The Big 5 Show combines seven major exhibitions under one roof, namely;
air-conditioning and refrigeration; water and environment; glass and metals; marble
and machinery; bathroom and ceramics; cleaning and maintenance; and, building and
construction materials.

According to the industry research undertaken by the TRI Hospitality Consulting, the
hotel supply in the GCC region, excluding Saudi Arabia is to increase by 174 hotels
and 48,940 hotel rooms in 2010, representing an increase of 87 and 144 percent
respectively.

In Dubai alone, the hotel market continues its dramatic development pace, 77 new
hotels and 26,150 hotel rooms are expected to materialize by 2010, increasing the
current room stock by 156 percent.

These developments signal a good opportunity for PATECO for its lumber products like
architectural mouldings, stair components, door jambs, high quality Molded Doors,
Flush Doors, as well as its interior Glass Door Panels..

"We are proud to work with the government in promoting the capabilities of our local
building materials industry through The Big 5 Show," said Alice Austria, Retail
Sales and Advertising Manager of PATECO..

Pacific Timber Export Corporation, established in year 1960, is a leader in the
integrated wood processing industry in the Philippines. The company is engaged in
diversified business activities such as industrial tree plantation, sawmill and
plywood plant operation, log and lumber dealership and the manufacture and export of
wood products, such as wood moldings, wood components, and flush doors.

Many wood processing companies are also relying to PATECO for kiln-drying
requirements. The company has 16 kiln-drying facilities that can accommodate 10
truckloads per chamber. With PATECO's commitment to bring quality wood products to
its customers, the company allows 30-days kiln drying period with a moisture content
of 12%.

Its several and large warehouses installed with large vacuums to contain the dust
produced during manufacture, as well as other equipment ensure zero-waste operation.

With the capacity to produce 300 units of doors per day, PATECO is confident that it
can keep up with the demands of Dubai's booming hotel market.

\"We put quality in the highest regard in the manufacture of all our products. Our
Molded Doors, for one, are by far in the leading edge in terms of applied raw
materials and workmanship. They are guaranteed to resist warping, shrinking,
swelling, cracking and delamination, which are the typical short-comings of
panel-doors.\"

\"Modesty aside, PATECO has been a reliable source of quality wood products for many
years now and this is proven by the numerous projects that have been awarded to us,
mostly by our repeat and satisfied customers.\"

The Philippines' second participation to The Big 5 Show is organized by the Center
